Jasmine Truley is an Associate Attorney at Nyman Turkish’s Michigan office. As a California native, she earned her undergraduate degree from UCLA where she was a Vice Initiative Provost (VIP) Scholar recipient. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree, she moved to Madrid, Spain, where she worked as an English teacher. That experience strengthened her passion for education, service, and working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
She later earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where she was recognized on the Dean’s List for her academic achievement. During law school, she was awarded the Justice Kyra Harris Bolden Scholarship in recognition of her commitment to academic excellence and service. She also served as a Teacher Research Assistant, a distinction awarded to the student who achieved the highest grade in the course.
Her academic and professional experiences have shaped a strong commitment to advocacy, particularly for marginalized and underserved individuals. She approaches her work with compassion, dedication, and a belief that everyone deserves to be heard and treated with dignity. She is passionate about helping clients navigate challenging circumstances and ensuring that individuals who may otherwise struggle to have their voices heard have a dedicated advocate in their corner.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and practicing a new language.
