Ryan Kaiser, Associate

Ryan Kaiser is an associate at Nyman Turkish PC in the Southfield, Michigan office. Ryan specializes in litigation and provides support to our Social Security Disability practice. Ryan is deeply passionate about his role as an advocate for our clients, and believes our practice brings justice and opportunity to those we represent.

Ryan is a fierce advocate for his clients, and is willing to take on the country's largest corporations and government entities to protect the rights of individuals with disabilities. Ryan's experience includes serving as co-counsel in a successful lawsuit against the Michigan High School Athletic Association to ensure all Michigan high school wrestlers have access to sign language interpreters, serving as co-counsel in a successful lawsuit against Detroit Metro Airport to improve accessibility for customers with disabilities, and obtaining a conditional preliminary injunction as co-counsel in a lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Customs and Border Protection to protect the job of an American combat veteran suffering from PTSD, which later resulted in a successful settlement.

Ryan is recognized as a Rising Star in the legal profession by the prestigous organization, Super Lawyers. He completed his legal training at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During his time at Cooley, Ryan served as a Senior Associate Editor for the Cooley Law Review, worked in the Sixty Plus Elderlaw Clinic, where he received the Board of Director's Award for outstanding lawyering, worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Professional Responsibility Department, and served as an Associate Justice on the Student Bar Association Judicial Board. 

In addition to law, Ryan enjoys acting, performing music, fishing, and spending time with his wife, Laura. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Alma College with a minor in Theatre. Ryan’s unique background on the stage helps make him an effective litigator and advocate.
